Photo Darshan : I have a firm belief that it is not you who came here, its our shirdi sai who made you come to this site. Once when i was in Thirupathi to have darshan of Lord venkateshwara , i saw a poster with words "Its not darshan you get, its darshan he gives" . Similarly, i felt Sai pulls his good souls to give his darshan through the photography this little servant of sai did and presented in this site. To me this is a temple where you have come to see Baba, please browse all the pictures of Saibaba and remember to chant "Sai sai sai " ....Remember Sai whole heartedly and browse through the site. You can also listen to any saibaba bhajans or hum any chantings of saibaba. It will bring some peace in your heart. Please do not worry about your problems and think if ever sai will help you. Think positively because Saibaba photo darshan is a site made to give a feeling of a saibaba temple. I assure that when ever i get time by grace of saibaba , i shall try to do few more photography of sai to fill your heart with sai .All i expect is a warm feeling of presence of Sai in your heart. Shirdi saibaba blessings for you and your family Always in the feets of shirdi saibaba C.Venkat Raman Darshan of Sai Baba's picture is itself a darshan in person : The below incident from Baba's life from the book "Sai Samartha satcharita" translated in english by Zarine madam explains taking darshan of the picture is equivalent to taking darshan in person. Once a Bhajan singer named Balabuva suta known as mordern Tukaram, went to shirdi for saibaba's Darshan. This was his first meeting with Baba.They had never met before.But the moment they saw one another , Saibaba clearly said to him. "I have known to him since the last four years". Bala Buva was surprised . He was thinking "Why does Sai say so ? Baba has never left Shirdi.I too have laid my eyes on this place for the first time. Then, how is it that he has known me since the last 4 years." Finally, he remembered an incident which had happened 4 years back when he bowed to SaiBaba's picture . Then Balabuva immediately understood the significance of these words, and said " See, how all- pervading are the saints and their love and affection for the devotees. I had just bowed to a picture.I saw Sai in person today after four years.Whereas I forgot this a long time back, Baba kept it in Mind. Baba knew me, but i had no idea that he remembered me.It is only when the saints remind one that one realises it. One can see the reflection of the Sun's or Moon's disc in a clean mirror or clear water. A picture is also a pure reflection of the personage by which splendour is cast upon persons serving subordinately. Therefore, Darshan of a Saint's picture is equal to the darshan in person. Dear friends, I hope the above incident which happened during SaiBaba's life time helps you understand how much sai loves his devotees with pure heart.Sai is omniscent and omnipotent .This incident also explains that Sai really lives in every single saibaba picture , painting and photo and is giving darshan to us. By the grace of shri saibaba and guidance of few of my dear friends i was inspired and motivated to make a website especially to present our Saibaba's Photography. In 2004 i had few experiences through shirdi sai baba which lead me to make StarSai.com to spread the message of humanity and spread the beauty of Sai leela .I had few visions, experiences through my Guru saibaba which helped me understand Sai's ways and few other good souls and my close friends who were with me during the testing time in my life. All articles and photography i do for saibaba are for sai devotees who loves sai more than their own desires : Not all who pray sai can understand his heart. Like they say, medicine is for sick patient , all he websites and little works i do for sai is for shirdi saibaba devotees who are facing sufferings,pains and difficulties in their personal life, relationships,health,studies or career. Its my strong belief that Sai knows many comes to him just for materialistic benefits but even amoung them some loves sai beyond what they expect from him. Such pure hearted shirdi saibaba devotees always are the visitors am expecting for this site. Some write to me i am wrong and some appreciate. To me its just an expression of the love sai and i share. Only when i reach sai after this life i will know for sure what ever i did is accepted by him or not .Untill that time i will keep going and am fortunate for having parents and sister who support me in all that i wish to do for sai. A Flash Back of how i grew with belief that Prayers can move mountains : Even i had desires , loads of them when i enterted Saibaba temple in my town in 1999 when i finished my graduation.Those days i used to keep a candle and pray baba that i must get assignments for the video,filmmaking projects i planned to do. Years before that when i first learn about saibaba of shirdi in 1993, i used to light a candle and ask baba to help me pass in exams.I was in school at that time. Well, i trusted that even if i never study , Baba will help me pass in exams. he he.....Such was my begining with this sweet saint Sai Baba. How can i describe the way he pulled me into his path. Years before all this, in 1984 when i was probably 6 years old , i never know who Saibaba was. My mother was hospitalized and my father used to take me to a Ganesha temple where i keep 10 paise to Lord Ganesha and ask him "Save my mother"....Then years passed i was probably in 3rd grade in 1986. I never do home work in school ...As soon as i come back from school , i will go a garden and keep plants, water plants ...During such times i used to chant the name of Lord Murugan and ask him to help me escape from teachers for not doing home work. Some prayers wont have results because Sai has a different plan for us : Gradually , Sai Baba made me realize that real blessings comes when i give food to poor, give some clothes and books to the poor kids etc. With the little money i had , i used to involve in good deeds. The mistake i did was i always expected that if i do good then Sai will do good in my career. Well, its true when you do good to others, your past sins will be washed away and it helps you gain blessings in your life but probably Sai had a different plan for me. Sai kept on giving me incidents which only made me "GIVE" "give and "Give"....I kept on doing good deeds but i only had pains and failures in what ever i tried. During such times, once my Mom asked me to Light Lamps for Goddess Durga. Mostly women do it but i really do it with all interest to the extent that sometimes when i light lemon lamps for Goddess Durga , i will be the only guy in a crowd of lots of aunties, grandma and girls. ...he he ...sometimes i felt shy but today who ever says that they have pains in their life, i ask them to Light lamps or atleast a candle in any temple or infront of statue of shirdi saibaba. Am one of those Sparrows trying to fly high but Sai decided to pull me back to his own SKY : I don't know what i am today accept the fact that i know to pray Shirdi Saibaba whole heartedly, Pray for my dear sai friends who write to me and also ask who ever say their pains to Light lamps, give food, help their friends or relatives in need etc. This is only truth i learnt in this life. I am not well qualified accept for my love in photography and video editing and some traces of desire to me in filmmaking. But all these desires vanished this minute when am writing this article because it was my will to be a Filmmaker before 8-9 years but what i am today is doing good to atleast handful of good children of shirdi saibaba.I like to heal a person who is suffering with some problem in his or her life. I believe words have powers to heal , hence i try to send words of sai, words of faith and holy words which can comfort and give peace to few children of shirdi saibaba. I really loved the few sai friends baba gave me whom i treasure a lot. May be my parents are not happy with me as i din't settled down with my career and life but in Baba's kingdom , i am a little sparrow flying around in the very very small beautiful sky of Dwarakamai . I won't fly out of you Sai, I dont need the vast sky where i have to search for work,money,realtionships and love. I always wish to fly in your own sky of dwarakamai where you feed me , nurse me and care for me with so much of love and affection. I am rich in the Bank owned by my Sai called "Bank of Blessings" Final Pull to remain under feets of SaiBaba : In 2005, my life was all about coming around dhuni ( sacred fire created by saibaba , its continuation in saibaba mandhir at my place ) for one to 4 hours everyday .I used to dedicate my prayers to goddess of nature to protect innocent lives when a natural disaster happens. I have learnt from Baba that saints has powers and contacts with Nature .They can do any thing if the person really deserves to be protected but when sai or thousands of good saints Let go the nature to do its work, it means Nature has its own Law and humanity is degrading in this planet. Thats why i decided to keep caption of starsai.com as "Giving alone can change your life" as its more important to help people in need than just going to temples n praying God. I am not earning much and what i can do is only very little. Thats why i felt if i spread "message of helping" to all good souls , then everyone will help atleast one or two people when ever they come across a chance to help. Now a days, people always misunderstand doing good as an act of just going to a child orphange , old age home or any charity organisation or a temple and donating money. See, you can donate money to any organisation you trust ......its also a help .... but what matters is the little things you can do with your own hands..... If you wish to give some books to poor kids, please take time yourself or ask a trusted friend to go personally and hand over these books to these kids. Only then its pure , devoted act of helping others. More over only giving money is not help...when your friend or parents or relatives are not feeling well, you can be with them , console them, give them strength of mind..This is a physical help in time of need. So do what ever you can.....little help as and when God gives you a chance. Make use of it because its a blessing equal to visiting a temple several times.
I hope the photography i did with blessings fo Maa Saraswathi and Shirdi Saibaba made you feel close to saibaba. Please pray whole heartedly to sai . Mostly, sai devotees in india, likes to collect saibaba pictures .I have seen my sai friends doing that.Hope they find this site useful. For shirdi saibaba devotees abroad, am also planning to sell few of my shirdi saibaba photography as a Photo Book.Am sorry due to shipping charges , its not affortable to many. I also don't want many to buy it because dont know how long i will be able to do it. Probably , if i get busy with someother work, i might not continue. I believe Shirdi sababa lives in this website with all his glory to bless all his pure hearted children Aum sri sai ram C.Venkat Raman Little servant of Shirdi SaiBaba SaiBaba Paintings and Saibaba Photos during Sai Baba's life time : After approx 1915 when hundreds of devotees started to come to shirdi for darshan of saibaba in dwarakamai few small shops in shirdi started to emerge selling prasad and Photos of saibaba.I have read few leela of saibaba in which the he has tried to convey that message that Sai really lives in each and every single photos, statues or paintings we have. Once when a devotee was worried that he din't got prasad from directly from saibabas hand, Baba told him , "The prasad got in shirdi in shops is equal to the prasad given directl from his hands in dwarakamai". Sai has also encouraged people to get his little paintings and photos to worship at home .Sometimes sai used to bless the paintings and photos keeping on his chest and touching by hands and asked the devotees to preserve it and worship everyday. Being a photographer who lead a strange life always coming around BABA'S DHUNI in the saibaba temple in my home town for years togather not concentrating in my career and hatings to do events photography, i must say finally its due to the guidance of Sai , my Sai friends and support of my parents that am able to do this work of presenting shirdi saibaba photos for darshan by several thouands of true Shirdi Sai Baba devotees. Years of Support from my parents and sister to do Saibaba's work : Its been years since i earned a penny in reality.In such a fast practical world where parents stand upside down that their son must settle down soon with a career and earn money , my parents gave me the freedom,support and evry kind of help possible to serve Sai the way Sai pulled me to serve him .My parents also have desires for me but i believe its Sai's greatest gift to send me angel like mother and father who only kept calm giving my space and time to express my love for saibaba. Its because of their support and help of my sister indra that i was able to learn few ways of saibaba which i share with other sai devotees in pain when they write to me through starsai.com. This website is especially dedicated to my parents .My father chandrasekaran who has stitched few of the dress worn by Baba in this site. I purchased few in shirdi but since i was unable to go to shirdi,i got dress and embriodary materials which my father stitched to perfection by grace of saibaba. Eveery day my dad stitched i a new colour and i used to go to flower market to get flowers in the colours matching the dress. My mom Meena used to arrange flowers, make tea for me while photographing and she's the first one whom i seek for reviews with my usual question "does this look good ? " and usually my mom says "Its nice" . There are so many people who serve Sai in different ways .Mine is very small like a drop in the ocean . Even this drop of my expression of my love towards shirdi saibaba was possible because of the heart my parents have. All i expect from true shirdi saibaba devotees is to pray that i bring happiness to them by settling down with a career for all that they have done for me the past 4 years which is truely their part in doing "Baba's work" Always in the holy feets of shirdi sai baba Venkat |
